Two things: first, my number finally came up on Ravelry (where I'm EmmaJane). Second, I spent all of Miss T'.s nap, and then some, at Webs yesterday. Wheeeee!

Reversible (and sweet)

I liked the way the ends of the ribbed reversible cables came splaying out against the seed stitch background on this swatch, and I've been trying to put together a baby blanket design based on that motif—which is fully reversible, and the blanket should be too.

Chocolate bar borders, and candies in the middle? Yum.

Mashup: Rosebud vs. More Stripes?

I thought I'd had a great idea a while ago. Wouldn't Rosebud look great in Silk Garden Lite? Not that I don't love Wool Cotton to death, but I've made so many things in it: one-and-three-quarters baby blankets (although the first should maybe count as three or four), three-and-three-quarters baby sweaters.

The thing is, Silk Garden Lite doesn't come in so many colorways, even after the new ones for 2007 came out. So I'd been wondering about narrow stripes of two of them: maybe 2032 and 2033?

And now there's More Stripes in the new Knitty. Oooooooh.
